Story with 13 things

There was a man name Dave, he was from Peru and had a drum. He went to Kenya and met a guy by the name of Henry. They became best friend after a little while of talking and decided to travel the world together fist they wanted to see how tall they were, so they bought a wooden ruler and measured their height, one of them was six foot one and the other was five foot nine. Then they decided to go to Germany, and there they found a wooden head. At first they were all creeped out about it, but after a while it kind of grew on them.

Next they went to china and they wanted to send a post card back to their families, so they ventured out and they found an old general store where they bought a Chinese stamp made of marble. They thought it was the coolest thing they have ever laid their eyes on. So they brought it back to where they stayed for that week and began writing letters. And then miraculously three chestnuts appeared and a voice said, “I will grant you three wishes and with every wish you will lose a chestnut.” So they started to think and they decided they would travel some of the world with them.

They wished to go to Mongolia first because they have always wanted a Mongolian wallet. So, POOF, they were in Mongolia and one of the chestnuts disappeared. Dave bought a Mongolian wallet and it seemed kind of heavy for just a regular wallet, and Henry thought so right away, he opened it up and found some coins in there. They had no idea what country they were from, so they started asking around, they soon found out the coins were from Singapore. After that they wished to go to Spain. One of the chestnuts disappeared again. Now they were down to just one wish left. In Spain they wanted to stay kind of away from the towns so they found a farm and asked if they could stay there, the woman said yes and gave them a two hundred year old blanket that they thought was amazing. And in, where they were staying they found this small pot and it said “Gozo”. They asked if they could have it to put things in and the generous lady said sure why not.

After they were done there they decided to use their last wish to go see Native Americans. And the last chestnut was gone. And there they stayed with the Acoman tribe. And Dave and Henry really wanted to go canoeing so they rented a canoe from one man on a river and they went out canoeing for a day. After they got done there they were very hungry so they decied to go into a restaurant and eat there they only used the finest of dishes. The plate was a reservation plate, and all the silverware was hand carved. After they got done with all of their touring they decided to go home to their families after about three years out adventuring. So they went home and are still sending cards to each other and using the Chinese stamp to mail it across.
